Notified Bodies are one of the players of product certification market in Europe.
Notified Body (NB, NoBo) is a conformity assessment body officially designated by the national authority to carry out the procedures for conformity assessment within the meaning of applicable European Union harmonisation legislation. It carries out tasks related to conformity assessment procedures set out in the applicable legislation, when a third party is required. The European Commission publishes a list of such notified bodies.
Notified bodies are listed on Nando website. Each notified body has a scope depending on the directive. For instance, a notified body can cover both Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive (2014/30/EU) and Radio Equipment Directive (2014/53/EU).

Notified bodies are located in these countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Turkey (*) and United Kingdom.
